Today we have the pleasure to sit down with Alexandra Lawrence to talk about building your personal brand. Something many of us know we need to think about more deeply. Alex has worked in social media and influencer marketing for quite some time now. She began her career working on the brand side of luxury brands such as Hermes and Stuart Weitzman. She eventually branched out on her own to start her freelance consulting business when she realized she had value to offer small brands and influencers in a way that no one else is doing. Today she is based in Boston and runs a digital training course called Digital Brand Stylist, where she helps brands and influencers pinpoint their purpose, vision, & voice and create a one of a kind brand strategy to implement on social media. In addition to running her consulting business, she is also a Senior Talent Manager on the Blogist team. I’m sure some of you listening have been able to work directly with Alex. She is an incredible light and we are so grateful to have her on our team.
In today’s episode, we talk about why the secret to success when it comes to growth is having something that you want to be known for, why curated feeds are not the recipe for success and why being authentic, real, and yourself will set you apart from the rest. Alex also talks about why you should constantly go back to your vision and mood board.
At the end of the episode, we dive into Alex’s approach to defining your brand so you can grow yours exponentially this year.
